GME Summer Camp 7-2013

Riding instruction is provided by quality GME instructors on appropriate horses and ponies.  Emphasis is placed on safety, balance and correct position.  The fundamentals in horse care, grooming, tacking up, and horsemanship are emphasized in addition to all our mounted instruction.

General Pricing

    $45  single group lesson

    $160 (block of 4 lessons)

    $55 private lesson (30 minutes)

    Special “Jump Start” program- Introduction to Riding

    $200 for your first 4 private lessons.  Ideal for those who have never ridden before. One on one instruction

Mommy/Daddy and Me

Offered for our younger horse lovers age 3 and up. Enjoy time with your child, learning how to handle and groom a horse or pony safely. Parent and child will work together with an instructor while your child learns balance, strength and coordination while mounted at the walk and trot.

General Pricing

  • $45 for one hour session (groups up to 3)
  • $55 private lesson

 

Birthday Parties

Enjoy a pony party at GME!  Party will include a lesson about horse care, handling, and a short mounted ride for each participant. GME will provide a horse themed craft, table, chairs, decorations, and napkins, plates, and cups.

General Pricing

  • $250 includes set up, party and clean up for up to 6 guests.  Includes use of 1 pony and 2 adult helpers
  • Additional guests $15 each
  • Additional pony for use at party $75 (recommended for groups larger than 8)

Summer Camp

GME holds Summer Camp during the months of June and July.  This can be a 1 or 2 week session and with your horse or a horse can be provided with enough notice.  In addition to learning about horsemanship and furthering one’s riding and jumping skills, participants of the GME Summer Camp have the opportunity to develop new and meaningful relationships to last a lifetime.

Day with an Olympian

For an extra-special occasion, Gina Miles, Olympic Silver Medalist from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, will spend 2 hours with you and/or your group. The day will be custom designed for you and can include a private riding lesson, pictures and videos from the Olympics and/or motivational topics such as goal setting, sports psychology and tips for success.  Prices starts at $500; please call for a quote on your customized day.

Competition Barn

Train and compete with the best; Gold Medal Equestrian competes at numerous horse trials, three day events, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage shows at the local, national, and international level. Your world class instructors, Gina Miles and Rebecca Braitling, have competed on the world stage and can offer you and your horse an individualized training program to maximize your potential and achieve your goals. Whether you want to achieve your personal best at a local show or represent your country, GME has a program for you!
